Stage One   

Welcome to the 2007-2008 Stage One experience
your imagination season. We are excited to introduce to you the new
Louisville Theatrical Association Management Group. At a joint board
meeting of the leadership of Stage One, Music Theatre Louisville, and
the Louisville Theatrical Association presenter of PNC Broadway Across
America – Louisville, agreed to combine the three groups into a single
collaborative organization. Each of the three is currently operating
successfully. The purpose of the combined organization, which will
operate under the Louisville Theatrical Association (LTA) name, will be
to forge new and greater audience development and education
opportunities for each group, while taking advantage of staffing
efficiencies under a new format. Each will maintain separate public
presenting identities so far as their shows are concerned.

Louisville's nationally acclaimed professional theatre for
young audiences, is dedicated to bringing the finest quality theatre to
young people and families. Now, in our 61st season, Stage One continues to be recognized as one of the nation’s leading professional theatres for young audiences.


We would like to invite and encourage you to visit us this school year
with performances that will be produced at The Kentucky Center as well
as the Iroquois Amphitheater. We’ve put together a year of theatre for
students of all ages sure to educate and entertain. Collectively, these
shows promise to engage and enlighten students, while adding humor and
teaching heartfelt lessons they’re sure to never forget.


From childhood favorites like If You Give a Pig a Party and Treasure Island, great books such as The Giver and Bunnicula to classic productions like The Secret Garden: a theatrical journey is sure to thrill young and old alike. Our holiday show, Madeline’s Christmas promises to be a magical musical Christmastime delight.
